Rocky`s Roadhouse in Running Springs

We ordered a Beef Bomb Sandwich & Turkey Avacado Salad. The food was good when we got it. We waited 56 minutes for our food. I'm still not sure how a sandwich and salad could possibly take that long. Why when questioned about our order I received a " we had lots of orders, I can refund your money", instead of an apology and I'll have it right away response.Definitely wasn't worth waiting darn near an hour for!! 56 minutes!!!!

Love going to Rocky's. The Italian sub is my favorite but everything is so good. If you are traveling by definitely stop by.

I admire this restaurant! They prepare fantastic food, their menu is rich, The cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I enjoy a lot trying all their food. The dishes are always good, the service towards the customers is agreeable. I often go to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

This place isn't fancy or overpriced. The food is wonderful. The service is very personal. It's definitely worth the stop. If I ever make it back to the Big Bear area we will make sure and visit again.

Pretty good sandwiches, great service

Meh. The reuben sandwich had coleslaw smothered on top of it instead of sauerkraut. We both thought it was a little weird.

We ordered two sandwiches and there was a hair in one of them and a piece of cardboard in the other one. Furtherome, I asked for the restroom and was almost denied to use it. The girl asked if I was going to order something. I told her we have already ordered. Anyways, I would not recommend it.

Warning!Bring cash (payment is cash only) and a big appetite! A $9 sandwich can feed 2 or 3 people🤩.Spectacular sandwiches and great service/staff make Rocky's a must-stop when visiting the mountain. One of my favorites!Edit: Their pickled eggs are delicious too!

Delicious and quick service

Had a Turkey bacon avocado, my hubby got an Italian Stallion bread was so good, meats and veggies were super fresh, service was good. We will def return and try something different when we go back.

Love it!! Been there twice so far and I love their Italian! My dad got the pastrami which was pretty tasty too! Cant wait to try the many other subs offered. Also the crew are super nice!

Best sandwiches in the world..No wonder it's at the top of the mountain because it's the top sandwich place.The bread.. the meat... the atmosphere... mmmmmmm good!

Solid food! The Italian Stallion was packed with flavor on a glorious loaf that was toothsome with an excellent crust. Don't wait to eat this juicy beast or it will get soggy!

Visited my brother who lives in Fontana. He suggested we drive up to Big Bear Lake community. When we got hungry, we continued driving but wasn't quite sure Rocky's had what we wanted. Took a chance on this "mom-and-pop shop" which turned out to have some of the freshest and tastiest sandwiches: Beef Dip, Rocky's Rueben, The Beef Bomb were outstanding. Homemade "focaccia-like" bread is awesome! Nice twist on old favorites. Very friendly and efficient staff. And fresh-brewed iced tea!

Staff is very proud of their food and they should be. The bread is delicious and they choose quality meats. Will visit every time when I'm in the area.

Smiling faces from all that work there. Sandwich was great,even though they gave me the wrong meat on the sandwich (turkey instead of ham) it was still delicious. The bread was fresh. The meal was just really good. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Best sandwiches on the mountain, no contest. Bring cash, or prepare for ATM fees. (One inside) but they do offer a free drink if you use it. You can't go wrong with any menu choice, really!

This deli is amazing!! The bread is to die for, service is great, they allow dogs. Everything about this place is amazing. Such good food, yum!! Love everything here!! They were so kind to bring out a bowl of water for my dog too. I like to get the peppercorn Turkey sandwich and my boyfriend likes the Rocky's Italian. We always share. Such big portions!!
